Anna Kubicz completed her piano studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music under the guidance of Prof. Alicja Paleta-Bugaj. She has cooperated with various cultural institutions, among them The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, Sinfonia Varsovia, The Fryderyk Chopin Society, The European Association of Conservatoires (AEC), “Polish Community” Association, The Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, the Polish Embassy in New Delhi and the Consulate General of Poland in Mumbai.
Anna has performed with the Warmia-Masuria Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Piotr Wajrak and with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Piotr Wijatkowski. She has also performed solo and chamber works in many Polish cities, including Warsaw, Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Duszniki and Żelazowa Wola. In May 2011 she performed a concert tour of India. Her interpretation of the Ballade in A-flat major of Fryderyk Chopin can be found on the CD “Chopin… en partage” which is the fruit of cooperation between the Polish Embassy in Tunisia, the Arab and Mediterranean Music Centre in Sidi Bou Said in Tunis, “Realities” weekly magazine and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (FCUM) in Warsaw. She has participated in a film promoting her alma mater, titled “A Little Piece of Heaven” directed by Konrad Piwowarski and in a report on “The Warsaw of Fryderyk Chopin” for Deutsche Welle television, where she gave an interview and performed the works of Fryderyk Chopin.
In February 2013 Anna won 1st prize in the “Piano” category and 2nd prize in the “Soloist with Orchestra” category during the International Competition – “21st Century Art” in Funchal, Portugal. Since July 2013 Anna has cooperated with Concert Agency PRESTO and gives Chopin recitals in Warsaw.
