PHOTOGRAPHS OF FRYDERYK CONCERT HALL
Welcome to Fryderyk Concert Hall
Fryderyk Concert Hall is located in the heart of the Old Town of Warsaw, in the nineteenth century courtyard at ul. Podwale 15. It’s here, that Chopin’s heart was kept by his sister Ludwika, which she brought with her from Paris, after Chopin’s death, fulfilling his wish. Next door to Fryderyk Concert Hall is the famous Honoratka restaurant where Chopin used dine, and nearby on Miodowa Street is the Młodziejowski Palace in which Chopin gave his first public concert.
The inspiration for Fryderyk Concert Hall creation was the figure of this incomparable Polish composer and pianist, and the era in which he lived and created.
Hence the nineteenth century inspired interior – original plaster stucco, crystal mirrors and chandeliers, stylish decorations of nineteenth century European designers: all contributing to Chopin concerts at Fryderyk Concert Hall having a unique atmosphere.
